For reference, the ad you're talking about features race car drivers walking on a track, popping champagne with beautiful women, and cars racing by. According to the YouTube comments, the drivers are Ryan Hunter-Reay, EJ Viso, and Marco Andretti.

The song is blues rock, guitar-heavy, and lyrics include:
Everything gonna be alright (aka Everything going to be all right)
Come on
Let do it, just let it ??

The song seems to be written for the commercial. The YouTube user is Big Foote Music - http://www.bigfootemusic.com/ - and they list the ad in their Sound Design section.

Someone at AdTunes - http://adtunes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96294 - wrote to Big Foote and got a response (April 20, 2009) including "the tracks were written for our client, Izod. they are not as of yet available for download, streaming etc." But there was some hope the song would be released.

For the benefit of others who might be able to answer your question, I wanted to include information you provided in a feedback comment. You mentioned that you don't remember when the commercial aired, but it could have been five years ago.

We don't have any Santo & Johnny songs in our database, and I can't recall any Toyota ads that might have used one, but there was a Lincoln MKX commercial from 2006 that used a song similar to S&J's "Sleepwalk" - http://www.splendad.com/forums/1/topics/58 - But the music in that ad was an original composition.

We've gotten some feedback about our use of Google Custom Search, which replaces in-house search we were using before.

The major complaint so far is the results are all mixed together now.

We're open to changing things if they'll end up better serving everyone. We intend on expanding our use Google Custom Search in ways that you might find results more easily, so stay tuned.

If anyone has any opinions on the new search, let us know.

At the end of the end, music starts and the vocals go "Oh-oh, oh-oh".

People all over the YouTube comments claim the song is "Human" by The Killers. Included for reference above is a link to that song, but that does not appear to be the correct song that's in this commercial. Anyone have any other ideas?

However, we've brought back the classic search as an "Advanced search", which is linked from the bottom of the Google Custom Search results. Or go directly here: http://www.splendad.com/ads/advancedsearch The Advanced search allows you to specify whether you want to search in: 1. Corp/Brand/Product 2. Song 3. Ad Title 4. Forum Posts

The major complaint so far is the results are all mixed together now. We're open to changing things if they'll end up better serving everyone. We intend on expanding our use Google Custom Search in ways that you might find results more easily, so stay tuned. If anyone has any opinions on the new search, let us know.

13 Dec, 2008 03:05 PM keith 527	Topic: Open Song Questions / BlackBerry Storm - Verizon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbWsQCbqcE0 The ad is from the viewpoint of a person looking at his BlackBerry Storm, and being amazed at the touchscreen. At the end of the end, music starts and the vocals go "Oh-oh, oh-oh". People all over the YouTube comments claim the song is "Human" by The Killers. Included for reference above is a link to that song, but that does not appear to be the correct song that's in this commercial. Anyone have any other ideas?
