Gatorade - Stealin' commercial

Summary: Harvey Keitel plays a subconscious first base coach to Derek Jeter at a baseball game.

Video:

Description

New York Yankees star Derek Jeter gets a single, and renowned actor Harvey Keitel walks up to first in a business suit, unseen by anybody. The music and sound effects set an ominous tone, which is amplified by Keitel's cool demeanor. His advice sounds like something out of a gangster movie instead of a baseball game. "Nice, isn't it? Go ahead, take it. Here's the thing. That schmendrick [the pitcher], he keeps looking over here. And that one [the catcher]. He's got a gun. But you gotta do, what you gotta do." Jeter bolts for second base and takes a head first slide. Keitel follows up with "Ah stealin'. It's a beautiful thing." He then does a "psttt" to prompt Jeter to steal third.

Sound design by Gus Koven and music composed by David Winer at Stimmung.
