| [Jerry] I don't know who the singer is either, but he is incredible. I didn't know music of this quality was still being produced; if it is, the radio stations are not playing it. The singer sounds like Eddy Fisher or Vic Damone did when they were younger. They must be 75-80 years old now. The voice is too young and strong for the old masters. | ||

It appears to be comprised of audition tracks, sometimes with several different vocalists for the same song.

They would not give out the artist's name, either because tey didn;t know, or it is confidential; but the search continues. If I can find out, I will post it. It is a REAL catchy tune. None of the sound clips on his site or on youtube really sounds all that much like the singer of Winter Warm. Jeff Hooper seemingly sings in a lower key, has a "flatter" timbre and shallower vibrato. There is none of the sparkle and brightness that the "Winter Warm" singer imparts! What do the other readers think? |
