[Jari] I really cannot understand the use of the DUH commercials you are currently using. The Beethovan was hard enough to swallow, but now a Christmas carol? I find it very offensive. jzickuhr@earthlink.net

[Kevin Brown] Nothing says stupid, insipid advertising like the work "Duh". Who was the Ad Exec that allowed this idea to be presented to the client, and who was the Marketing Exec at Hyundai that approved it? Embarrassed doesn't even begin to describe how they should feel.

[Jackie] I agree 100%- besides the fact that they play that stupid "Nothing says Happy Holidays like the word "Duh" (played to the "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" tune) on just about every commercial break during the 6 O'clock News. Luckily we have Tivo so can fast foward during the stupid thing- I have never felt moved to complain about a commercial before- but this one is really really stupid.

[scott] I have never responded to a commercial before... but actually went to the corporate web site to leave negative feedback. Luckily for them they have no option to leave feedback on the corporate web site (maybe designed by the same marketing dept. that approved this ad campaign.) Hey folks, next time give me your advertising money as I am sure to come up with something better than that- DUH. Any corporation that would give money to this ad firm in the future deserves the same duh.
