I love that it is a group of kids from Australia!. it reminds me of the group of kids in Canada in the 70's that covered a bunch of David Bowie songs. [Starbuck199] Am I the only one who thinks that it's a bad idea to have kids singing about drinking, and having a "good" time. We all know what that song is actually talking about. Kind of like when kidz bop released the maroon 5 song that says, "keep her coming every night, so hard to keep her satisfied." I think we should all be happy with what we got. I think the kids did a fantastic job musically however i think we need to pay closer attention to what we expose our kids to at the "KID" age.
Loved the commercial and DL I would agree completely.

These kids (1 of which is mine) don't ever think about the lyrics or innuendos in any of the songs they sing, I can assure you. They just love singing and get a thrill everytime they're asked to perform at an event or festival! I think the reason why everyone likes it so much is because the kids ARE Singing a song that we wouldn't usually hear children singing, and that's what makes it so good. The reason I love the Aussie song/commercial can be summed up easily in four words -- The kids sound amazing! Judging from this lone song they can sing any song and sound great. I like their sound. Never gave it any thought in reference to the lyrics.
If this grouping of Aussie kids covered past or contemporary pop songs I'd buy their recordings. THEY sound that nice.
The kids have a fun, relaxing sound.
My hope is the Poison cover song is recorded for retail. I'd buy it up quicker than Britney Spears can fender bender her car... which is bi-weekly.
