The song may have been commissioned in terms of its arrangement but it is the opening bars of "Heat Wave" performed by the likes of Martha and the Vandellas; and Linda Ronstadt. It was written by Lamont Dozier and brothers Brian Holland and Edward Holland of Motown fame.
