A scarecrow made of electrical components does some stupid things while singing and dancing on part of the power grid.
Voice-over: Smart grid technology from GE will make the way we distribute electricity more efficient simply by making it more intelligent.
As the scarecrow leaves the power plant he zaps a crow with a bolt of electricity.

I am appalled that this classic song would be used to hawk a product -- no matter what, but electric power generation??? It's blasphemy. I will avoid GE products if possible in the future. Somebody should have had the guts to say no to this overly clever ad agency.
