IKEA - Lamp commercial

Summary: Sad music plays as an old lamp is thrown out.

Video:

Description

A woman unplugs an old, red lamp from her corner table, and puts it out to the curb with the trash. She bought a new lamp from IKEA to replace it.

It gets dark and starts raining, and the camera switches between with the old lamp outside, and looking from the outside to the new lamp inside. The music keeps getting sadder and sadder, then a man steps into frame and in a Scandinavian accent says, "Many of you feel bad for this lamp. That is because you're crazy. It has no feelings. And the new one is much better."

Production company: MJZ

Music in the ad was composed by Ren Klyce at Mit Out Sound.
