Description
For the 2007 Super Bowl, the Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl" contest resulted in five finalists, one of which was "Mouse Trap" by Billy Federighi of Beverly Hills, California. "Mouse Trap" wasn't chosen to be aired during the Super Bowl, but all five entries are part of an overall campaign in 2007.
In "Mouse Trap", a man in a business suit arrives home with some groceries. He then cuts a piece of a Dorito, lays it on a mouse trap, and waits patiently by the mouse hole while eating Doritos. All of a sudden a giant mouse (a guy in a mouse suit) busts through the wall, tackling the guy who set the trap.
This ad ended up airing a year later in Super Bowl XLII (2008).
