Lyrics used in the commercial

Livin' alone
I think of all the friends I've known
But when I dial the telephone
Nobody's home

All by myself

Description

Everything's moving along on the assembly line, but then the mechanical arm drops a bolt, and everything stops. It lets out an "uh oh", alarms go off, and the employees all have a concerned look on their faces. The robot is escorted out, and ends up wandering around looking for another job - including holding a sign "CONDOS FOR SALE" and being a fast food drive-thru speaker. The robot is constantly reminded of GM vehicles whenever one passes by, and eventually the despair is too much, so it dives off a bridge into the water below.

All of a sudden the robot wakes up back on the assembly line. It was all a dream.

The voice-over says, "The GM 100,000 mile warranty. It's got everyone at GM obsessed with quality."
