Description

This video is the extended version.

The star of this spot is a young woman we'll call the Neon Nights Girl. She's at a dance club with her friends, when she gets a call on her mobile phone. She seems to be arguing with someone, presumably her boyfriend. The bartender sees this and slides her a drink.

The scenes continue (at work by the copy machine / in the ladies room) with Neon Nights Girl constantly checking her cell phone for calls or messages. Her friends try to keep her mind off the phone.

Eventually Neon Nights Girl gets a call, but it's from the bartender, who's sitting right across the street.

This ad (airing May 2008) is the fourth installment in a series of advertisements using music by Lights. The musician herself also appears in this spot, performing in the club.

Filmed in Argentina, they created their own Chinatown street/alley.

Some of the Old Navy fashions in the ad are: Summer Strap Dress, Pleated Skirt,
Sleeveless Shirt, Keyhole Halter, Tropical Print Dress, and Striped Hoodie.

g.s, Lights blogged at her myspace that the EP is available in Canada in HMV and Best Buy, but not in the U.S. yet. This was as of April 28, 2008.

iTunes, which we link to above in the Music section, has 4 of her songs available (at least in the U.S. store).

My one year old loves this song! Every time this commercial comes on, she stops in her tracks and is quiet for the thirty seconds it lasts. Then she follows with a big applause when it ends...thank you for finding this song for my daughter!!!
