Description

This is the full length version of the ad, which is split up to air on television.

In her apartment, wearing low-rise geometric printed shorts and a crochet-trim tank, the pattern play girl tries on different shoes and looks through her closet, then tries on rings. When she's happy with the outfit, she goes down to the street to use the pay phone, but doesn't have the change. A friendly guy passing by provides her with the coin, and goes on his way.

Later she's window shopping with her friends, looking at fancy jewelry.

Then she and the friends walk a small white Maltese dog and a pit bull. The guy from before walks in the other direction, holding a pit bull puppy.

In the end, the pattern play girl is locked out of the apartment gate, but the friendly guy appears again to help her out.

constantly losing things like money and housekeys is a sign of underlying emotional issues, it is far from an adorable quirk. Helping people like that only encourages them to continue being disgustingly dependent.

what??? Emotional issues??? Its just a commercial and everyone has a day where they leave everything at home. But no one has somebody to always have the things you need like this guy.

okay everyone has a day when they leave everything at home, it would be a different story if she forgot her money and keys because she was rushing out of the house to go to an important interview, not to just go whoring around with her gal pals.

Wow, someone has issues with women. I am not the biggest fan of Old Navy, but this commercial is light-hearted and fun, and Nina Keita is completely adorable.

It's just a scripted commercial, she is acting out a part - I think you're reading too much into a tv ad.

It's cute and catchy... even if the products being advertised are not to my liking.

I think the commercial was cute. You really shouldn't crucify a person for being absent-minded, we all have our faults and we all have our strengths. I don't believe it necessarily has anything to do with "underlying emotional issues".

Oh, but in the notes above it says the large dog and the puppy are pit bulls...well the large one may be a breed termed "pit bull", but the puppy is a Weimaraner. As far as I know, Weimaraners have never been classified under the "pit bull" umbrella.

Actually I believe that the puppy is a pit bull as someone involved with the commercial has a youtube account of what I think is the same dog which is a blue pit bull. Though I agree that puppy looks quite like a weimaraner.
