Any word on the latest Lincoln ad? They use a cover version of "Major Tom (Coming Home)" done electro-style with a female vocal. It's the first song in many months where I actually sat up and said "I must buy that." The song, not the car.. Kudos to Lincoln for moving into new tracks now (even if they are remakes of classics) and not just pulling old iPod ad music.

Agreed. They aren't odd enough to be creepy and they aren't funny. Bland dialog, bland direction, with googly eyes glued to a small stack of money as the focus. The gecko and cavemen are getting old, too. The well is running dry.

Lincoln MKS - Technologic
It appears Lincoln's ad agency honchos had a meeting where they decided to recycle popular ad songs from the past 10 years. This second ad in the series feels unoriginal and lazy to me. More Jill Wagner, less copycat. Or do the work and find new music to break.
