Coca Cola - What Comes Around - Jack White
Category: commercial
Summary: A young woman loses her bird, and a quirky series of events plays out.
Video:
Music in the commercial
Description
The young woman has vivid red hair, and a dress to match, which along with her white blouse matches the colors of Coca Cola. Or if you prefer, colors The White Stripes tend to use, which is fitting since White Stripes frontman Jack White composed and performed the song in the ad.
The series of events are presented by showing different points in time all at once. You're still unaware of what lies ahead because the camera has to get there first. The redhead starts off in motion, but soon after her bird flies off she becomes still and duplicates of her (who are actually other actresses) are seen running down the stairs, also standing still. She has a Coke in hand, and being nice, gives it to a man who is walking by. The good deeds continue until the original redhead gets her bird back.
The commercial only aired once in the UK, having premiered on Australian TV but possibly not airing at all in the US.
