The couple starts off in California. The girl points to the beach while the lyric "How are things on the west coast?" plays.

The scene cuts to Colorado. The guy sings Rocky Mountain High, much to the disappointment of the girl.

The guy is a little worried that the girl sings along to All My Ex's Live in Texas.

The next scene is in New Orleans. The couple is eating beignets (fried dough covered in powered sugar), and listening to Born on the Bayou.

Then they get to NYC, crossing the Manhattan Bridge, and listen to New York Groove.
