Description
The voice-over starts describing Roger Federer with his birth in Basel, Switzerland. A slide show of pictures when he was a baby/child are shown. The narration continues to explain that Federer started playing tennis at 6 years old, and had the option to be a soccer pro, but chose to stick with tennis.
Roger Federer has been known to have a temper, but "he found his cool and became a champion." In fact, he's the only player to win three majors, three times each. These three majors (Grand Slam tournaments) are Australian Open, Wimbledon, and U.S. Open. His total major wins at the time the commercial first aired was 10, but then after he won Wimbledon in July 2007, the ad was changed to mention his 11 major wins and counting.
The kicker of the ad comes when the narrator reveals his identity. "But my name is Tiger Woods. I have 12 majors and counting, so keep up buddy."
