A rooster does his customary morning crowing, which wakes the cows up. One of the bovines suggests getting an early start on the alfalfa on the back 40, but the other is in no hurry, so she says to hit the snooze. The alarm clock they're referring to is the rooster, which is next seen flying through the air, having been tossed/kicked by the cow.
