Music in the commercial

Lyrics used in the commercial

I say, and so say I
My morning thought
It knew itself just fine
Until across the room
It caught its first glimpse of my afternoon

I say, and so say I
My mornings day seems nothing like its night
My night so self assured
Was all at sea when faced with dawns strange world
How can it be
That these things live in me?

Description

The theme is "Today's the day" and the scenes in the commercial provide examples of making the best of the day.

A girl bounces on her bed, as a mobile spins around with the words "TO", "INSTALL", and "ORDER".

Another day the mother is showing a volcano demonstration to her class. On the blackboard it says "To captivate an audience".

When the father gets home, in the rain on the window it says "to be a kid again". He plays a game of table tennis with his family.

As the family is in the kitchen, on the refridgerator it says "TO GET IN SYNC".

While giving a diamond necklace to his wife, on a gift box it says "For the Gift that counts".

The woman walks out of the home with a newspaper that has the headline "FOR A CHANGE OF SCENERY".

After the family settles in for the evening, the gears of a clock are shown concluding the "Today's the day" theme with "TO NEVER END".

This commercial aired during the 2007 Academy Awards.
