Description

"With her son off to college, Liz turned to Target for great deals."

The commercial then shows the son using the purchased items in ways the mother wouldn't quite expect.

"A $20 comforter for his bed" - He is at a sporting event (most likely football game) with a college girl, and uses the comforter to keep them warm and to hide themselves as they make out.

"A fridge for healthy snacks" - The mini refrigerator is filled with Mountain Dew, Red Bull, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey's bars, and Oreos.

"A reading lamp to study by" - The lamp has a black light in it, and the boy throws a retro party in his room. He's got a Run DMC shirt on and old school sunglasses.

"And a cell phone to call home" - Liz gets a call from her son while she's at a social gathering, and she takes it right away.
