Description
The trailer opens with the ominous sound of sparse piano, and shows a dramatic slow-motion shot of soldiers being forced off a cliff by Spartans.
The Spartans are the "300" referred to in the title, and they're up against an enormous Persian army that's invading their homeland.
The movie is a close adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel, which is historical fantasy loosely based on the Battle of Thermopylae during the Greco-Persian wars.
