Description

Setting up this spot is an airplane captain telling the passengers to put out their cigarettes, which establishes the era as sometime in the past before smoking was completely banned from planes. Then the year flashes on the screen "1976", and if that wasn't enough, we're given more clues the show takes place is the 70s - disco dancing, footage of an astronaut from one the space missions at the time, and president at the time - Jimmy Carter.

The show Swingtown takes place in the suburbs where a sexual revolution is taking place.
