AT&T - Dad commercial

Summary: A father's double explains how he missed his daughter's text message, so he ends up looking for her in parked cars.

Video:

Description

Cars are parked at a lookout point, where teens would typically go to make out. The dad in the spot is looking in all the cars, as he yells his daughter's name. "Kelly, it's daddy!"

The alter ego version of him explains to his daughter (and the audience) how he doesn't have AT&T, so isn't getting a mobile phone signal way up there. This means he missed his daughter's message that she was sleeping over a friend's house.

[Teresa Price] Sounds good, but the commercial is grammatically incorrect....."Come Monday, you're gonna be the girl with the crazy father who no one wants to date." ----The placement of the modifier demands that the father is the person no one will ever want to date.
