Description
Max is very impressed with Shawn for bringing free music sharing to the world. Even as Fanning compliments VW on bringing clean diesel vehicles to all 50 states, Max fixates on how cool free music is. But as Shawn points out, "But your thing is legal, and trust me. Legal is cooler."
Since creating peer-to-peer file sharing program Napster, Fanning has gone onto other ventures, and Napster has become a legal fee-based music subscription service.

[anonymous] I am appalled that you even hints at the suggestion that free music could be considered cool. I own a small music publishing company that does not fit the often vilified "fat cat music conglomerate". Living in Nashville, you can't imagine how file sharing has impacted the industry. There are now half of the professional songwriters that once made their living here 10 years ago. Your add is irresponsible. But I'm sure all the creative people that put it together appreciated being paid. Many of us that make our livelihoods off of song copyrights/intellectual property are losing that privilege.
