Airing during the 1984 Super Bowl, this ad is considered a classic.

People in drab garb march in step to an assembly where a talking head on the screen is indoctrinating them. This futuristic world is representative of the IBM world, and Apple is represented by a woman running with a sledgehammer. She tosses the hammer into the screen.
