Burger King - Krusty
Summary: Krusty the Clown tries to persuade the audience to avoid Burger King, and eat his poor quality Krusty burgers.
Krusty appears and greets us, the audience, with his customary "Hey! Hey!" Then he goes onto explain that he desperately needs the money from sales of Krusty burgers to help cover his seven alimony payments.
To gain more sympathy from the audience, Krusty shows how he's wearing paper bags for shoes. When the camera shifts back up, we find an animated version of the BK King holding a Whopper out. Krusty punches the King down in frustration.
That seems like the end of the ad, but as Krusty's telling the audience not to buy the Whopper, the King springs back up and slugs Krusty to the ground.
This spot is a cross promotion for The Simpsons Movie (opening 7/27/07) and Burger King.
