Summary: Trees, flowers, and rocks in the wilderness discuss how to pronounce Teva.
Video:
Description
The scene opens in a serene forest with a woman's soothing voice saying "It is said that nature has a voice and from it comes pure beauty."
The deep thought of her statement is countered by the humorous quips of a pair of dandelions. One of them is beat-boxing, but they quiet down when a group of hikers wearing Teva sport sandals walk by. The debate begins over how to pronounce the name Teva. One flower thinks it should be pronounced "Teeva" and the other says "Tev-uh". (The latter is correct)
Also joining the comical discussion are some boulders by a stream, one of which says about "Teeva" - "That's the thing that records the television shows."
Eventually the soothing tree tells the others to shush up, and she sets the record straight by saying "It's Teva."
Part of a campaign to show that Teva means nature (literally), this spot has a 30s television version and an extended web version. The moving mouth effect over the footage of nature is a technique called Syncro-Vox.
