Description
The schoolgirl has a crush on a boy, and doodles a heart in her notebook. Printed inside she writes SH + CM. She gets nervous when a classmate walks by, and covers it up. However, when she lifts up her hands, the drawing is gone. She's surprised to find it's being magically written on the blackboard in front of the whole class. So she rushes up and stands in front of it.
She notices out in the hall some construction paper artwork reassembles itself into the shape of her doodle, so she runs out there to rip it down. But that's not the end of it. The large letters in a banner hanging in the cafeteria transforms from "SCHOOL CHAMPS" to "SH + CM", so she rips that down too.
Probably the most embarrassing of all, the heart starts to magic marker itself into one of the lunch room tables that the boy she has a crush on happens to be sitting. She dives across the table and cups her hands over the heart. As he moves her hands off the drawing, she realizes he feels the same way, and they smile at each other.
Part of JCPenney's back to school campaign. There's also a longer 60s version.
